Exploring the Hidden Gems: A Day in the Northern Driftless

Tammy, Alex, and I headed over to the northern Driftless for the day. I had a chance to fish a couple streams and try out the new Speyco reel I bought at last weekend Great Waters Fly Fishing Expo. These reels are made in Wisconsin and really look the part for bamboo and will balance out the longer rods. Partway through the day we had a chance to stop at one of out favorite stores in the area. I caught a few fish on a Black Ghost and a black and white Clouser Minnow. It turned into a beautiful spring day and we all had a good time.
